About Islip’s JDog Junk Removal & Hauling
Dennis is the owner of Islip’s JDog Junk Removal & Hauling and the son of U.S. Navy Veteran Robert Stein. Robert spent 6 years in the Military, serving on the coast of Vietnam. He was deployed all over the world – from Japan to Korea – and most of the time on carriers. Robert worked 6 years on aircraft carriers, repairing and landing jets on to the runways. His passion for the Fire Brigade while onboard the U.S. Navy carriers propelled him into a 27-year career in the New York City Fire Dept., serving his local communities.
As the son of a Military Veteran, the discipline and hard work his father exemplified was something Dennis admired. This propelled his desire to explore business ownership in order to help employ Veterans in memory of his father. Business ownership and employing Veterans are what attracted Dennis to JDog. He is determined to get the unemployment of veterans to under 1% while abiding by JDog’s main values which are Respect, Integrity, and Trust.
Dennis has lived on Long Island his whole life and now resides in Islip with his wife Melissa, their 2 kids and 2 dogs. He is excited and looking forward to giving back to the community that has already done so much for him.
